NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH

“They patrol the streets. Tonight, the streets fight back.”

Genre: Horror/Thriller
Runtime: 88 minutes
Rating: R (for strong violence, disturbing themes, and language)

SYNOPSIS

In the quiet suburb of Oakridge Estates, the Neighborhood Watch is more than just bored dads and nosy retirees—it’s a cult-like obsession with control. Led by the charismatic but unhinged Greg Holloway, the Watch logs every license plate, documents every “suspicious” outsider, and enforces their own brand of justice.

But when the group violently harasses the wrong stranger—a silent drifter with piercing eyes—they awaken something ancient lurking beneath their manicured lawns. As midnight strikes, the Watch discovers:

✔ Their security cameras show impossible things (figures standing in attics, children who don’t exist)
✔ The streets rearrange themselves (dead ends where there were none, houses that weren’t there before)
✔ Their rulebooks won’t save them (because whatever’s out there plays by older rules)

WHY IT WORKS

  • Suburban Horror Meets Folk Tale: The Stepford Wives by way of The Wicker Man

  • Unnerving Set Pieces:
    • A backyard BBQ where the meat isn’t pork
    • A children’s chalk drawing that changes when no one looks
    • The ultimate reveal of what really built Oakridge Estates
